Portrait of Philipp

[Disclaimer: This site is still work in progress.]

I am a quantum statistical physicist, studying the emergence of classicality, Markovianity and the laws of thermodynamics. Eventually, I want to contribute to a better quantitative understanding of the structure of the Multiverse (if there is any).

I am also much interested in (science) policy and, in particular, the psychology and sociology of inaction.

Secretely, I wish I were a dinosaur scientist.

I am in favor of universal basic income (yes, I know the counter arguments and I think they don't count).

I do not have any open positions (another reason for universal basic income).
