Short Boigraphy

I’m graduated in computer science and engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 1994. I received the PhD degree in computer science and engineering in 2003, and the extraordinary PhD Award from the same university. I have been an assistant professor at the University of Alcalá, since 1995 to 1998 and an associated professor at the University Rey Juan Carlos, since 1998 to 2006. I joined the University of Cantabria in 2006, where I am an associate professor in the Department of Computer and Electronics. Currently, I work with Ramón Beivide in the Group of Architecture and Technology of Computers. My research interests include high-performance computing, heterogeneous architectures and interconnection networks.
