Vidal F. Canales 
received his BSc degree in Physics in 1995, his MSc degree in 1996 and his PhD 
in 2000, from the Universidad de Cantabria, Spain. He has worked in velocimetry 
by spatiotemporal transform of series of low-light-level images. His present 
main interests include adaptive optics, superresolution techniques, exoplanets 
detection and vision science. He has published more than 40 JCR articles
