V Technical Session on
Computer Graphics and Geometric Modeling
TSCG'2007
Sunway Lagoon Resort
Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
(Malaysia), August 26-30 2007
Paper submission
The paper submission is common for all ICCSA workshops (including TSCG)
and is completely performed online. It consists of several steps:
Step 1: firstly, you should
register to get a username and password (which will be sent to your
e-mail account for future use). For doing so, just go to ICCSA'2007 web page and select the "Electronic Submission" link on the
top. Once there, follow the
instructions indicated in the form.
Step 2: Then, you can send the abstract of your paper
electronically.
Please, do not forget to indicate
which workshop you are sending your paper to. In this case, just select
"Computer Graphics..., TSCG'2007" in the corresponding list.
Step 3: The full paper is
uploaded.
IMPORTANT: If you have
questions about the submission procedure or encounter any trouble,
please contact Osvaldo Gervasi at: osvaldo@unipg.it
All
submissions must be written in English.
After receiving your submission, the paper will be reviewed taking
into account:
- relevance
- significance of results,
- originality,
- technical accuracy, and
- readability
and acceptance/rejection will be based on this review. If a paper is
rejected you will be contacted and given the referee reports. It may
well be that your paper is more suited to be submitted to another
workshop or conference.
Kind of Papers
Please, note that this year we will accept two different kind of
papers:
- full paper
of 10 to 14 pages - Accepted contributions will be
published in the Springer-Verlag
Lecture Notes in Computer Science
(LNCS) volumes.
- short paper
of 6 to 9 pages - Accepted contributions will be published in
the IEEE Computer Society
proceedings.
Full Papers
The submitted full paper must be camera-ready, between 10 and 14
pages long and formatted according to the LNCS rules. Please
consult the URL http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
for
formatting information and templates.
Short Papers
The submitted short paper must be camera-ready, between 6 and 9
pages long and formatted according to the rules of IEEE Computer
Society. Please consult the URL http://www.computer.org for
formatting
information and templates.
To
submit a full or a short paper, please
refer to instructions available on the ICCSA 2007 web site. Only
papers submitted through the electronic submission and strictly
adhering to the relevant format will be considered for reviewing and
publication.
The
paper must present an original and unpublished work,
not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall
entirely under responsibility of the authors). Each
paper will be reviewed by experts in the relevant field, ensuring the
acceptance only to top quality contributions.
When
a paper is accepted at least one of the authors has to register to the
conference and deliver the related talk. Failure to do so shall lead to
rejection of the application to attend next year conference and the
exclusion of the paper for the current year proceedings. Submission
implies the willingness
of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper.
Finally, note that the workshop chairs are only responsible for
all the academic aspects of the papers (including the submission,
reviewing and final selection, among others). For questions about
registration, lodging, visa, flights, or any other question, please
contact
ICCSA'2007 organizers.
