In the last few years, Computer Graphics and Geometric Modeling have become some of the most important and challenging areas of Computer Science. This workshop solicits high-quality papers for presentation describing original research results in Computer Graphics and Geometric Modeling (see Topics).
All accepted papers will be published as full papers in the Springer-Verlag
Lecture Notes in Computer Science ( LNCS
) Series and will be available for the delegates in printed
form. In addition, all accepted papers will be scheduled for oral
presentation. Submission implies the
willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present
the paper.
In addition, an extended version of some papers of the workshop
will be selected for publication in the Special Issue on Computer Graphics
and Geometric Modeling of the International Journal
of Image and Graphics (World Scientific) to appear in 2004.
The workshop is a part of ICCSA'03 , the 2003 International Conference on Computational Science
and its Applications to be held in Montreal, Canada, 18-21
May, 2003. This second CGGM workshop follows-up the highly successful
CGGM'2002
held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The 35 contributions selected
(published by Springer-Verlag LNCS, vol
2030 ) were presented during the three-days workshop.
In addition, some papers were selected for a Special Issue of
Elsevier's journal "Future Generation Computer Systems" devoted
to Computer Graphics and Geometric Modeling to appear in 2003.
The conference language will be English.
